The Problem with Spammers, and my Solution to this problem

Posted on July 29, 2018 at 2:34 PM Comments comments (54)
Howdy Folks,

Lately, a fair number of people have been posting comments on my various articles that are not sincere, but are simply ways to use my comments section as a means for spamming. It has become so bad that the only way to deal with it was to erase all of the comments, change things so that nothing can be posted without my permission, and that will make things slower. It is what it is.

I have also taken steps to deal with it spiritually. Simply put, while I much prefer to bless people, I have set up what can best be called "The Curse from Hell" that is destroying the lives of the spammers even now, and it will automatically go after future spammers even though I will not allow their comments to be posted. I have had quite enough of these on line parasites.

A NOTE TO THE SPAMMERS: Whether you have done it before, so are already included in this curse, or you have just come here with such an intention and so are in it now, there is something that you will need to remember when your life is falling apart all around you. Do not bother asking for forgiveness as there shall be no mercy.

I received this comment on the power of our attunements today:

"Hello, Baba Prajna

Thank you for the Empowerment. I' m already down with it. Thank you again. The Empowerment is most powerful and it works, as all the others by you, beautifully.

Sincerely

JF

P.S: For all the most, I would like to thank you and the HP Priestess TSK in my name, and in the name my best friend RG, for the best initiation in the Universe, for the Great Mother's Goddess Mahakali Initiation.
WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!!!! Boy it works!!"

I have included this comment for two reasons. One is that I really do prefer to do things that are a blessing to people, but when I have to curse someone instead know that just as our attunements are powerful, and will rock your world in wonderful ways, so too are our curses powerful, and will destroy the lives of any whom I have to do this too. And, while the blessings are filled with joy and love for Mahakali, the curses are filled with rage for having been forced into this position.

Understanding the Tantra of the Great Mother

Posted on July 5, 2018 at 8:41 AM Comments comments (3)
Howdy folks,

The following was sent to me by one of my Apprentices, and I will share it with you, and then expound a bit further on it:

"The following is a lecture by Alan Watts which is very much worth listening to as it is truly thought provoking and is a very fitting modern explanation for Westerners of the symbology of the Great Mother Goddess Kali.  I wish to thank one of my dearest of students for sending it to me.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Ftd5RBFYW0&sns=em

As most people know on this mailing list, I am a devotee of Kali MA and an initiate of what I would call White, Red and Black Classical or Traditional Tantra.  These colors do not connote a moral stance or judgement such as good or bad but a different level of practice and perhaps at times for different temperaments inherent in the spiritual practitioner.
White Tantra focuses more on the internal practices such as Meditation, Japa, Pranayama, Dharana such as Visualization etc... and very little on sexual practices if at all.  The aim is Mukti or Spiritual Emancipation above all things.

Red Tantra does include the conscious circulation of the sexual force either within oneself or/and with a partner to awaken the Kundalini Shakti within self for both Transcendence and Immanence of the God/Goddess within self in order to consciously become the Self. This path includes in equal importance Mukti and Bukti (enjoyment) of the world.

Black Tantra which has nothing 'dark' about it embraces the concept of impermanence and acknowledges the fear inherent in this concept which is primarily driven by the ultimate impermanence of what most identify with: their bodies and minds.  Here we have cremation ground practices, the place of predilection to face the ultimate reality and to form a more tangible connection with Kali Herself.  Tantra is after all TANgible TRAnscendence as modern Tantra Master Dr Swami Anandakapila Saraswati would put it.

Tantra by what ever color works with the Forces of Nature and Universal Principles inherent within and outside of ourselves for both tangible inner and outer transformations to occur.  Tantra offers an experiential and existential journey from sperm to worm and from womb to tomb that we call Life.  Life is the Play (Leela) of Eros and Thanatos playing itself out in space and time by which we have this wonderful opportunity to become aware of and participate in through Consciousness.  Don't Waste It!"

There are actually more colors of Tantra than these

Any individual seriously interested in learning and being initiated into Mahakali Tantra - the Path of Freedom, Empowerment and Bliss can contact me on this website whether local, interstate or overseas. We can make this happen for you.

Dare to see differently!

Posted on July 4, 2018 at 8:23 PM Comments comments (3)
Howdy Apprentices and friends,

Physically, we have five senses, and all of them can be used to "see" in the spirit world. Some people can do only one, some do two or three of them, and some people can use all five. But, increasingly, there is a sixth sense that is coming into play where people simply "know" what is there. People with this knowing may still have access to some of the usual ways, but then again, they may not. The only way to learn what ways work for you is to try each one, and note what comes to you in the process. In due time then you will get used to working in the ways that work for you, but simply "knowing" is the hardest one even though it is considered to be the highest evolution in "spiritual sight." In the case of simply knowing, you generally have it right when you know what is there with an unshakable certainty that it is so.

Of course, a part of the process is understanding what you see. Consider this from our Apprentice in Ireland. A friend of her's recently saw her in the clothes she was wearing at the time, but he saw her with red on her face. In the spirit world we appear according to our thoughts. Physically, she is one of the most beautiful young ladies any of us will ever likely meet in this world, but it the spirit world then we all appear according to the emotions and beauty, or lack of it, in our thoughts. In the spirit world, colors mean a lot of the same things they have attributed to them in this dimension, and we appear according to our emotions. If you are feeling fear or hatred, or love, or contentment, or whatever else, then you will appear according to that feeling, and your color will be the same.

Last night, from the end of the Divine Puja and for another couple of hours, I put some serious thought into merging with a Layak, and visited the folks who decided to hate me without actually getting to know me yesterday, and today they know my dark side very well! Today I am "evil incarnate" for them, but at just about any other time then they may likely see me as just me minus clothes and maybe in ashes (Wow, a Naked Shaman, imagine that!), as a fun and happy iridescent dragon, or as a gray mist swirling around some buildings somewhere. It all depends upon what I am thinking about, and the same is true for each of you. Want to be beautiful in the spirit world? Think beautiful thoughts, and you will appear in that way. Think dark and ugly thoughts, and that is how you will appear. Feel angry, fearful, depressed, silly, flirtatious, or anything else, and that is how you will be seen in the spirit world.

If you have the desire to attract lots of lovers then see  and feel yourself as being the hottest and sexiest person alive in the spirit world, and do what you can to be so here and now as well. That is one way in which the frumpiest nerds in the world still often go home with some of the most smoking hot women and young guys on the planet while the supposedly most beautiful and handsome people physically are standing around wondering if they have body odor, bad breath, and/or food stuck in their teeth. When you look great in the spirit world then many others, even those that have no conscious awareness of "knowing", will still look at you, and just "know" that you are the hottest one there. And, the same is true for anything else that you desire to do. Are you looking for a new job? No problem! Look and feel like the most competent person in the spirit world for that position, and your potential employers will feel it too, and if you look the part as best you can physically as well then it will just be that much more obvious to them.

Want to see a specific person in the spirit world? That is easy. Choose to be where they are, and you will see them. See something that looks differently than you expected? Well, you are seeing them as either what they are choosing to wear there, or what their emotions are making them look like. But, it is still them that you are seeing. Having a conversation with them there will help you with this.

NOTE: there are many people who think they cannot get out of their bodies to journey, but who do so all of the time. They have simply decided that it must manifest in a certain way, but it is not. Those people should play with this as well. They just might be surprised.

Work with this a bit, and then let me know if you have any questions.

Dare to Think for Yourself!

Posted on July 4, 2018 at 11:45 AM Comments comments (2)
Howdy Apprentices and friends,

A few years back there was a lady who was ill, had good reason to believe she had been cursed (She was right.), and she was destitute as well. She needed help in a bad way, the Goddess said to give it, and I did. We sent the curse back to those who put it upon her, she got well, and her business took off like the proverbial "scalded cat." She sent a donation, and I never heard from or of her again until today. This morning she wanted to know what I thought of the political activity going on with the Socialist Democrats in New York City this past weekend. They are calling for open borders, the end of all nations, free medical insurance and education for everyone, a guaranteed job and wage for everyone, and they want to fund it all by nationalizing all private property and every private business as well. (Dream on!)

To make a long story short, I told her in detail why I think those people are crazy, and I have now deleted well over a hundred emails from her and her friends who have been spending a chunk of the day telling me all about why I am a racist, a bigot, a Nazi, a misogynist, a baby killer, and a whole bunch of other foul things simply for being part white, male, and for daring to disagree with them. Interesting...I am part Scottish, Irish, English, German, Jewish and Cherokee, and being Cherokee, am therefore also part Chinese and Black. I am a "Rainbow Nazi!" Are we having fun yet?

John Lennon wrote a song a while back called "Imagine". Not only is it a beautiful song, but like the hopes and dreams of the "Democratic" Socialists (who are not really very democratic), it just isn't very practical at this time. I listen to it from time to time, and put out some energy toward it being possible someday even though I have no doubt that it will not be in in this lifetime nor in a few more to come. Here is a link for it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6hAifvok1E. Until everyone on earth has the same ideals and values, and all societies, sects and beliefs are in agreement then it simply cannot happen. Take the USA as an example here.

We are the most hated nation on earth at this time, and whether it is deserved or not is not the issue. What is the issue is that if these people get what they desire then many of the people who come here unimpeded will gladly kill and enslave them in "thanks" for their misplaced kindness. Can we get past this situation? Someday. Will it be anytime soon? Not likely. Now the "thought police" have judged me guilty of a "crime" for thinking differently than they do. Cool! Guilty as charged, and proud of it! I am Aghori! Thinking for myself is a part of what I do.

Each of you look at your own countries, consider the various factions within them, and see if you have a hope for peace, tranquility and total agreement among all of your citizens, much less others coming to your nation who want what you have whether you want to give it to them or not. What will it take for Lennon's song to become a reality there? When you know that then you will have some idea as to why Cherokee Elders work for what will happen in the world seven generations from now. Can we ever achieve a utopian dream? Can we do it in seven generations, or is each set of seven generations just another baby step on the way for a species that has war as it's only constant since we were first birthed by the Naga and the Apes? Only time will tell, but right now the world is a very interesting place for us to be able to learn a lot of great and wondrous lessons as we continue our quest for the ever elusive goal of total enlightenment.

Well, I am as interested in what may happen in the future as anyone else since I will be coming back again, and again, and again ad nauseum, but today I am more concerned about what we all do now, and it serves no one if we follow the mob mentality. So, dare to think for yourselves, and don't give in to what others think you should say or believe. The Goddess does not desire robots. Instead, she desires that we learn and grow, and that we become the "hollow bone", like a kangling trumpet, for her power and energy to flow through to all of Creation. There will not be peace on earth until every entity in our part of creation finds peace within themselves first, but we can certainly do that for ourselves, and then if other people who desire it, but don't know how to get it, see it in us they may well ask how to get it for themselves. If they do then we can share what has worked for us, and they can begin to explore what also works for them.

Then someday, maybe thousands of years from now, enough people will find their personal peace so that world peace may become a reality. But, until then, I am not concerned with any of that. I am just doing what the Goddess puts in front of me to do, and I suggest that you do the same. We will not always agree about what that is to do, but we can at least cooperate on the things that we agree with, and as long as we maintain our personal autonomy then we as Aghori will succeed in doing our part, and those who are not Aghori will do their part as well so that the world will at least become a better place to live. Like those folks who have never met me, but have judged me for not being like them, we can be different, but we can still work for the common good, and we can choose to be kind about it when we are allowed to be. But, when we are not allowed then all we can do is what humans do best, until both sides are willing to get over it and try again.

Have a fun week, dare to be different, and don't let the idiots in the world get you down. And remember: We are One with all of Creation, and that includes all of the people whom we disagree with, or who disagree with us. We are all in this together.

Have you ever Wondered where Racial Superiority Came from?

Posted on March 19, 2018 at 8:03 PM Comments comments (2)
Howdy Apprentices and friends,

The idea of racial superiority has been around for thousands of years, but as the saying goes in the USA, it's also "as American as apple pie." The following article will explain it to you:

The US Government continued Morton's experiments with the skulls of Native Americans that were killed in battle until they figured out that most Native Americans had bigger craniums that most white people. Then the measurements mysteriously stopped, and the results were locked away in the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. We Cherokee were as bad as they were since we refer to ourselves as the Tsalagiyi which means that we are the "Real People" as compared to everyone else, and we have called ourselves that since the tribe first began just about 3,500 years ago. Over the years, that arrogance got us in lots of trouble since we tended to underestimate a lot folks. Obviously, we were not as bright as we thought we were...Well, except possibly for me...

So, read this article, and take it to heart. No one is better than anyone else simply because of their race, and no one is smarter than anyone else unless they choose to be according to the lessons they are here to learn in this lifetime. Some people here are "prejudiced as hell and dumber that dirt" on purpose so that they can help the rest of us learn our lessons so the next time you encounter those excessively exasperating people in the world then at least try to be grateful for them. I try. Sometimes I fail, but I do try. Then again, sometimes I have been told that I can be quite trying. I trust that you are all feeling grateful right now.

One other fun note from the folks at National Geographic. They have a little activity called the Genomic Project through which they have proven that just five thousand years ago everyone on the planet was directly related. Take those findings along with the article above, and one can only assume that we are not all related now simply because we have chosen to believe that we are not. But, belief rarely has anything to do with the truth. It is subjective at best. Have fun with that.

The Special Forces way of doing things that works Spiritually as well as Physically

Posted on August 18, 2017 at 6:59 PM Comments comments (4)
Two weeks ago two days were spent cutting down and cutting up around 150,000 pounds of dead wood to be used in our two wood burning stoves this coming winter. First of all, I cannot afford to pay around a thousand dollars for it to someone else who would do it for me, secondly, dead trees need to be cut so that we can pick where they fall for our benefit and that of the forest as well, and third, I believe in working HARD, and getting good exercise where I can. People who don't challenge themselves daily don't grow stronger. At that time I told my Apprentices that "tomorrow i will begin putting it into our barn, cutting it into smaller pieces and splitting it. Tomorrow will be BRUTAL as compared to today. Here is an old Special Forces saying for you: "The only easy day was yesterday!" (Because it is over.) In what follows I will share with you some thoughts on what it takes to be physically, mentally and spiritually tough, and yes, you really do need to be all three. That is what our Shamanic Resilient Psychology training is all about." Here is what I told them:

Here is how you develop physical toughness:

Physical Toughness Checklist (All answers need to be yes):
* Did i physically challenge my body today?
* Did I elevate my heart rate and breathing today?
* Did I exercise longer or faster today than yesterday?
* Will I exercise longer or faster tomorrow than I did today?

Here is how you develop mental toughness:

Mental Toughness Checklist (All answers need to be yes):
* Did I identify a fear?
* Did I make preparations to conquer that fear?
* Did I conquer this fear?
* Did I move on to my next fear?

Here is how you develop spiritual toughness:

Spiritual Toughness Checklist (All answers need to be yes):
* Have I identified an area of spiritual mastery that I desire to achieve?
* Did I receive empowerment and study and train to make it so?
* Have I achieved a degree of Mastery along that path?
* Have I identified the next area that I shall pursue when this one is finished?

Day dreaming is a key part of these processes. See yourself meeting the physical, mental and spiritual challenges that you set for yourself. See every possible scenario play out to it's conclusion, and if it ends in what appears to be failure then back up to where it went astray, and see yourself doing something different to get to a successful conclusion that is perfect in every way. For example, I spent some time today seeing myself moving 75 tons of wood to the barn this week, processing it for splitting, and beginning that process. I know how I will do it if it doesn't rain, and I know how I will do it if it does. And, I see myself with powerful, rock hard muscles all over my body when I am finished. And, I know which five dead trees that I will take down and move next week as well. Having seen these things, I then cut down trees, and cut them up according to my plan, and began to move some of the wood to a better place I preparation for what I will do tomorrow.

There are many things that I have feared in the past, and I have faced them one by one. Now I explore them at greater depths of possibility, and overcome them one by one at that deeper level. When I got to where I had conquered my fears for myself then I faced and conquered my fears about what could happen to my family and friends. And, I have dreamed about all of the things that could possibly happen, and how I would respond to it. Now I am over that as well, and I know exactly what I would do in every situation. I have a mental checklist of each thing I would do to overcome those situations, or to make someone rue the day they were born if my family or friends are ever either harmed or killed. I have been perfecting the art of violence for the past 54 years, my extensive medical capabilities for about 45 years, and my spiritual capabilities for 57 years so I am ready for about anything that comes along. And, due to dreaming the ways it can go, and physically training and studying as well, I can do what needs to be done, when it needs to be done, without panicking in the process.

Spiritually, I have many attainments behind me, and I make certain that I have new ones that I desire to attain to for every one that has been completed, and I constantly strive to do so, but I do it for a purpose that is greater than just my own desires. I live to serve Mahakali, and seek out and learn new ways to do so while fulfilling the commitments that I have made to her and each of you now. This week I am working on six empowerments, and will complete two or more of them before the week is over. Then I will be studying, meditating, and preparing for the next ones that I have to do as well. And, I will be doing still other things to prepare for my next lifetime. I shall not fail to do these things as I am spiritually tough as well as physically and mentally tough. And, if I was not tough in these other ways then I could not be so spiritually as a Warrior Shaman. Further, the physical and mental aspects would suffer if I were less dedicated and involved spiritually. Each area works together.

So, the above is an example of how these three areas work for me, and it is up to you, Mahakali and your Guardian Animal and Upper Realm Teacher to decide how this sort of thing works for you. So, dream about all of the ways that these can go for you, and explore all of the possibilities. Then, see yourself doing these things over and over again until it becomes second nature for you. Then, start actually doing those things until every part of it is easy to do, and second nature to you so that it becomes simple and automatic. Then, take each step to a new level. Do this diligently, and you will soon discover your purpose for being here, and you will be able to achieve at least some degree of Mastery in the process, and possible a very high degree of it. I have, and because of that I know that each of you can do so as well.

Do whatever you can to be tough in all three ways, and to whatever degree that you can, and everything else will be easier for you than it is for other people who ignore one or more of these areas of challenge. We have another saying in Special Forces that also fits with all three areas, and especially with the spiritual. It says, "You fight like you train." Think about that when you are considering blowing off your daily practice simply because you are tired or not feeling well, and then even if you either can't or don't do what you usually do then at least do something that helps you to learn, stretch and grow, and then resume your usual activities when you can. There is no such thing as a time out in your spiritual life either so make this simple motto your own, "Never quit!"

Here is how you develop spiritual toughness:
Spiritual Toughness Checklist (All answers need to be yes):

Say it as often as you must, and know that the only defeat you can ever truly have is by quitting. "Never quit!" means that you are not giving yourself permission to do so, and that nothing and no one can stop you.

2016 Financial Report: How We Fund Our Work

Posted on July 28, 2017 at 9:38 PM Comments comments (11)
2016 Financial Report for Naturopathic & Shamanic Services, Inc., and How We Do Our Work
www.NakedShaman.net

While our primary focus is to do and teach Cherokee Medicine, and the ways of the Tibetan Kapalika Aghora Path, we strive to assist all other forms of Matriarchal spirituality in their ability to do their work no matter where they may find themselves in this world. In 2016 we did a better job of this than we have ever been able to do before due to our sales to customers, 100% of which goes to this purpose, and due to $2,000.00 in designated offerings for specific projects. Because of this we were able to either fully or mostly equip seventeen Bon tribal and Hindu Shamans, help to furnish a Shamanic Kali Temple here in the USA, and to fully equip a Congolese Medicine Man who is one of the rarest of men fully trained in Congolese Women's Medicine so that he can serve the Congolese refugees living in Pittsburgh, PA. And, we were able to provide training to people in tribes around the world who don't have money in the sense that we understand it, and some financial assistance to a Unity Church teaching Meta-physics to primarily former fundamentalist Christians and others.

Here is how that broke down financially:

We received a total of $49,000.00 USD in both internet sales and donations, and our expenses for all of what was covered in the first paragraph above cost $33,735.52 USD. This included some of the donations from my Apprentices that I am supposed to live on, but the mission always comes first. That left $15,264.48 USD for me to live on which averaged out to $1,272.04 USD per month. Considering that I work somewhere between 12 and 18 hours per day seven days per week, and sometimes more when it is needed, then I can assure you that one really must love this work to do it, and now you know why we are what is called a "501(c)3 Non-Profit Corporation".

If you are interested in a life of service then visit the "Aghora Apprenticeship" page on this website, and see if this Path is really for you. Maybe one out of ten thousand of us will ever get rich in money, but we are blessed beyond degree by the blessings of the Great Mother Goddess who is known as Monolah in Cherokee, Mahakali in Sanskrit, and Troma Nagmo in Tibetan. They are all one and the same Goddess. There is only one ultimate Creator. Fortunately, She doesn't much care what we call Her since all things come from Her anyway, and be it a male or female name, as long as we do so with respect.

How to Interpret and Understand Ancient Spiritual Texts

Many modern spiritual texts have some value, but are often written from a very slanted point of view while most ancient texts were written as entertaining stories with ideas on how to live, learn and grow both spiritually as well as in relationship with others, they often contain hidden and powerful occult truths that will benefit us greatly if we know how to find them. That is what this article is about.

Problems arise when people lose sight of the original intentions of the writers, and begin to believe that they are the literal historical truth and the “only word of god”. Whether it is the Bhaghavad Gita, the Tanakh, the Qur’an, the Christian Bible, The Good Witch's Bible, or any other spiritual text none of them are the literal and only word of any great spiritual being. If that offends you then do yourself a favor, and continue reading. I suspect that you will find something very interesting here before we get done.

In my Rabbinical training, one of my favorite books was “Sefer ha Zohar” (the Book of Enlightenment), and we shall quote a bit from that, and then there is a great little workbook called “The Invisible Chariot: An Introduction to Kabbalah and Jewish Spirituality” by Deborah Kerdeman and Lawrence Kushner. I encourage you to get a copy, and to study it well as it will help you greatly with this process. You see, even though it is teaching people to study Kabbalah, it's principles can be applied to any ancient spiritual text just as well. And, after that we will cover a bit about what is known as “ICE Theology”. So, prepare to have a bit of fun!

On page 28 of “The Invisible Chariot”, and after a lengthy preparation for it, Kushner wrote, “We are now ready to explore the final level of Torah. It is called “sod”. Sod means “secret”. It is the level of ultimate meaning, total interconnectedness. Here, the interpreter reads between all of the lines, and uncovers meaning in the spaces between all of the words. He or she understands not only how every passage of Torah relates to every other passage, but also how each word and letter of Torah applies to all aspects of life. Naturally, such insight requires tremendous familiarity with the entire Tanakh and extremely clear vision.”
In other words, it is not what is obvious that counts, but the things that are hidden within the deeper meanings of even the smallest parts, and even in the spaces where there appears to be nothing at all. Attorneys often argue about the spirit of the law as compared to the letter of the law. As of the 1 of January, 2017 there is now a law on the books that effectively makes child prostitution legal there even though any adult caught being a prostitute will still be charged with a crime and possibly go to prison for it. The problem here is not so much as that the State Legislature intended to make it legal to sell the sexual favors of children as the great likelihood that it is a very poorly worded law, and the spirit, or intentions of the writers, was something much different than the appearances. The interpretation of spiritual texts is much this way as we look for a meta-physical understanding of the words beyond the physical understanding of what they say.

Consider these words of Rabbi Simeon ben Yohai from the Zohar: “Woe to the man who says that Torah represents mere stories and simple words! If so then we could compose a Torah (Book of Laws) right now with simple words that would be better than all of them (that came before)! To the present matters of the world? Even rulers of the world possess more sublime words! If this be so then let us follow them, and make a Torah out of them! Ah, but all of the words of Torah are subtle words and hidden secrets!”

And...”Woe to the wicked man who says that Torah is a mere story! They look at it's raiment and no further. Happy are the righteous who look at the Torah correctly. A wine must sit in a jar, and so Torah must sit in this raiment. Do not look at the raiment, but under it! All of those words, and all of those stories are but raiments.”

Just as we Aghori know that clothing interferes with our energy, and that our nudity represents the freedom the Goddess has given us, so to are the words and decorations of sacred texts merely a poor covering for the true energy and deep and secret meanings of all that lies beneath them. Some of our surrogates for attunements are good examples of this as they are even more beautiful without their clothes (raiment) on than they are when wearing them. Obviously, that does not include me, but they are the good example here, and not I.

And, we all have hidden secrets within us from past lives, but we cannot find them by looking at the exterior of our bodies, but must delve deep within our spirits and our minds to find those hidden gems of wisdom.

The same is true of the ancient sacred texts. We must consider their deeper and more profound meanings to be able to receive the hidden truths and great powers within them. We need to look under their garment of words and letters to find the naked (raw) power that is there for us to harness and use. And, that brings us to the lessons found in ICE Theology!

ICE is an acronym for Isagogic, Categorical and Exegetical. Isagogics is the study of the history, archeology and culture of a given people at the time of the writing of the ancient texts as this will help us to rightly understand what is being said. All too often, people in modern times will read an ancient text, or its translation, and interpret what they read in accordance to what their own culture says about it. This was the great mistake of the British when they first encountered statues of Mahakali in India and other countries in that part of the world. While her iconography actually means one thing, they interpreted it according to medieval Christianity and the other superstitions from their part of the world.

There are often concepts that are not clear in place in an ancient text, but there is a fairly simple way to interpret the basic meanings that allow you to look for the deeper understandings, and that comes from the categorical approach. We do this by looking at what the words or concepts mean all through the text, and not just in one place, sutra, kural or section. In doing so we wind up with a very rich and diverse understanding of the words and concepts that we study, and we also look at the root understandings of the letters themselves.

The exegetical approach to our study comes about by taking every facet of our study, and putting it together, and then looking for the metaphorical understanding about life that this brings to us. When we have that then we are able to spend time talking with Mahakali and the spirits about it, and then meditating deeply upon those parts that have been revealed so that we can learn to see the deepest, most hidden and powerful secrets within it. It is in the Silence of the Void of Kali that we find the hidden treasures, but it is these other processes that sets it up for us to be able to do so successfully.

So, here is a simple explanation of the process of spiritual exploration within the ancient texts. Follow this basic guide as to how it is done, and you will soon find other methods that will work for you as well that are based upon your own spiritual strengths and insights. The rewards of such an activity are profound! Here is a case in point: Whenever someone who is ill with a catastrophic disease reads through the Zohar for the first time then there is a point in the reading where the energy of the words heals them completely! My favorite version of “The Zohar” is the five volume set that is translated by Harry Sperling and Maurice Simon, and that is published by the Soncino Press in London, England and New York, New York USA.
